Friends of Yamuna Foundation
Serving food and water to birds is a compassionate and environmentally conscious effort that plays a crucial role in supporting local bird populations, especially in urban and semi-urban areas. The dedicated team members used to feed the birds of the forest daily in the early hours of the day around 6am in the morning. This is the routine practice of the foundation. This practice not only aids in bird conservation but also fosters a deeper connection between humans and nature. It encourages people to care for their surroundings and promotes awareness about the importance of biodiversity and ecosystem preservation. Additionally, setting up bird feeders and water stations can help educate children and the community about the need for protecting wildlife and living in harmony with nature. Incorporating this activity within initiatives like the FRIENDS OF YAMUNA FOUNDATION can further strengthen its mission of environmental stewardship, showing care for all living creatures and promoting a healthier ecosystem.
