FRIENDS OF YAMUNA FOUNDATION is a collective group of passionate individuals committed to restoring the ecological and mythological significance of the Yamuna River. Over the years, the foundation has successfully raised awareness about environmental conservation among various groups, including citizens, school children, and key stakeholders, through innovative activities and outreach programs. Led by a dedicated team of volunteers, the foundation strives to protect and rejuvenate the Yamuna's ecosystem. Their efforts are deeply rooted in a shared commitment to creating a sustainable future, driven by a sense of responsibility to the environment and society at large

Through the slogan “Aao SAWARE YAMUNA KINARE” awareness is being spread to keep the environment around the river green and clean. It is expected that the people should come and enjoy the experience of the divine pilgrimage and go home with new energy.
